A Message From the Founder
Aloha, I'm Spencer Lum
I'm an educator with over 15 years of tutoring experience. I received my undergraduate degree in Mathematics from the University of Hawaii at Manoa and created Spark Learning during the COVID-19 pandemic in March 2021 to address the gaps students were experiencing without school support.
I've worked with a diverse range of students — from elementary-age learners to non-traditional students returning to community college. I believe quality tutoring addresses not just subject content but executive functioning and higher-order thinking skills that students carry for life.
I take pride in upholding the highest quality of tutoring through careful selection of staff and strong, continuous mentorship. From our services, we hope to spark your learning.
